Terms of Service

Using this site

These are free crochet calculators. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Results are estimates

The calculators use published formulas and standards, and we test them against worked examples. Real projects still vary with tension, hook, yarn and stitch pattern, so results are estimates. Check them against your own swatch and pattern, and buy yarn from the same dye lot with a margin. Information is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Pricing results are suggestions, not financial or tax advice. You decide what to charge.

Third-party standards and links

We cite standards and examples from sources such as the Craft Yarn Council and link to them. We are not affiliated with them, and we are not responsible for the content of linked sites.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that harms its performance, or use it for anything unlawful.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, including yarn or materials bought based on an estimate.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
